Epoxy and PU resin floors — in warehouses, workshops, showrooms, clinics, kitchens and car parks — are chosen for a seamless, chemical-resistant, easy-clean surface. Over time the gloss abrades in forklift and trolley lanes, the coating yellows under UV, and impact or chemical damage exposes the screed underneath.
FloorCarePro restores resin floors by machine-abrading and re-coating with a fresh top coat, repairing delaminated and chipped areas, and — for gloss loss without coating failure — burnishing the existing surface back to shine. Anti-slip aggregate can be added or refreshed at the same time.

What goes wrong
Common epoxy flooring problems.
Epoxy is a coating, not the slab — so restoration is about the coating's condition: is the gloss just worn (burnish), is the top coat tired (re-coat), or has it lost adhesion and needs stripping back (partial re-lay). Catching it at the burnish/re-coat stage is far cheaper.

Why it needs a specialist
Not a job for consumer products.
Resin coatings live or die by surface preparation and by mixing and applying within tight ratio and time windows — get the prep or the pot life wrong and the new coat delaminates. Diamond or shot-blast abrasion, moisture testing and correct product selection are not DIY territory.

How long does floor polishing take?
A typical 1,000–1,500 sq ft home takes one to two days. Floors needing full grinding, or larger commercial areas, take longer. We work room by room so the rest of the space stays usable.
Can a really badly damaged floor still be restored?
Usually yes. Unless the substrate has failed structurally or a wood wear layer is completely gone, grinding/sanding plus repair can bring almost any stone, terrazzo or timber floor back.
