Care matched to the material.
Some floor problems are not about the material — they apply to marble, granite, tile, Kota and more alike. A floor that is dangerously slippery when wet. A scratch or stain that needs spot repair, not a full re-polish. Grout lines that have failed across the whole floor. Skirting and dado that were never finished to match.
FloorCarePro handles these as standalone jobs: an anti-skid treatment that raises wet grip without changing the look, targeted scratch and stain repair, full grouting and regrouting, and polishing of vertical marble and stone skirting, dado and step risers so they match the floor.
Our floor treatment services
Every step, done properly.
Anti-Skid Treatment
An anti-skid (anti-slip) treatment increases the wet grip of a hard floor without changing how it looks.
↗ 02Floor Scratch Removal
Scratch removal is spot refinishing — abrading a scratched area back below the depth of the scratch and re-building the finish to match the surrounding floor.
↗ 03Water Stain Removal
Water leaves several different marks on a floor and each needs a different fix: hard-water mineral film that sits on top, water rings and cloudiness where moisture has penetrated stone, white bloom trapped under a wood or resin finish, and efflorescence — salts carried up through stone and tile by damp.
↗ 04Grouting & Regrouting
Whole-floor grout work across any tiled or stone-tile surface: filling joints that were never grouted properly, raking out and replacing grout that has cracked, crumbled or discoloured, and colour-sealing sound-but-ugly grout to a uniform shade.
↗ 05Skirting & Dado Polishing
The vertical stone — marble or granite skirting, dado, step risers, window sills, thresholds and platform edges — is almost always left rougher and duller than the floor, because polishing verticals needs different, handheld tools.
↗What goes wrong
Common floor treatment problems.
These treatments are diagnostic first — the right fix for a slippery floor, a scratch or a stain depends entirely on the material and the cause, so every job starts with identifying what you actually have and what went wrong.
Floors that are hazardous underfoot when wet — bathrooms, lobbies, ramps, poolside
Isolated scratches, chips and stains that don't warrant re-doing the whole floor
Water rings, rust marks and organic stains on stone and tile
Cracked, missing, discoloured grout throughout a floor
Rough or unpolished skirting, dado, thresholds and step edges
Why it needs a specialist
Not a job for consumer products.
An anti-skid treatment that is over-applied ruins the finish and still fails an SCOF test; a badly matched spot repair looks worse than the damage. These jobs reward someone who tests, matches and applies to spec — not a one-size product.
Keeping it that way
How to look after your floor treatment.
- ✓Keep entrance matting in place — most floor damage walks in on shoes
- ✓Fix leaks and condensation; standing water is behind most slips and stains
- ✓Address a small scratch or stain early, before it spreads or deepens
- ✓Re-test anti-skid areas annually if they are safety-critical

Frequently asked questions
Common questions, answered.
Will it make my polished floor look dull?
Applied correctly, no — the process is controlled to raise grip while keeping the finish. Over-application dulls stone, which is exactly why it should be tested and timed, not just poured on.
Will the repaired spot be noticeable?
When it is done properly, no — the area is feathered out and finished to the same sheen. Very deep gouges may leave a faint shadow but are dramatically improved.
